SOMETIMES IT’S ABOUT CHANGE,
SOMETIMES IT’S ABOUT ACCEPTANCE –
AND OFTEN IT’S ABOUT A BIT OF BOTH
THERAPY IS HERE TO HELP
what can we do?
“Simply” getting things off your chest can be such a huge relief. I use quotes on “simply” because I know it can be a long road to get to the point where you’re sitting with me, with anyone, and facing what’s been weighing on you. Courage – let it out, hear your own words, this is a space and a place for you.
(At the risk of getting ahead of myself here…) From there I’m here to support you with figuring out what will be helpful, and how.
We can explore connection with your own self and values, with others, and with your environment. I have experience supporting people through stressful times, troubled sleep, the challenges of adolescence, what it’s like to be parenting and step-parenting, what it’s like to not be parenting, to be in the process of re-establishing trust with oneself, increasing connection with self and others, deepening connection to place, reflecting on history and ancestry, reflecting on sense of direction in life, on sense of self-confidence, on sense of belonging, through life transitions, through grief, loss, and establishing a renewed sense of emotional balance.
offering on-line counselling:
I am a social worker registered to work with people in Ontario and in Québec – providing mental health counselling/psychotherapy and resource navigation. Talk therapy can go a long way, and I’m also here to help you to connect with more sources of support in your life and in your community.
